Railways need 50 lac crores between 2018-2030 to complete all its sanctioned projects.
Hence, need of private investment is inevitable.

Setting up solar power plant capacity along the rail track
Railway station redevelopment project
1150 private passenger trains through PPP mode
More Tejas type trains
Outlay of 18600 cr for Bangalore Suburban metro model

Announcement of Kisaan Rail under Aspiration India theme wherein perishable items will be transported on refrigerated VUs which will act as cold supply chain which will benefit farmers.

Capital expenditure outlay is 1.7 lac crores up by 6% from last year.

M oment of jubilation for we Indians as we have nabbed the key suspect who was allegedly involved in 7/11 mumbai train blasts which killed almost 200 people and injured 700 (official figures, but we have ignored living dead persons of those bereaved families who lost their loved ones in this tragic incident, if we factor in this number, this will swell like air baloon )-- A news item on STAR News last night.It seems to me as a pyrrhic victory because the real mastermind is still alive and he may ignite many more sparks of terror in different parts of our land. FEELING BIRTHDAY

Day of Joyand contentment for my parents. They became very happy to see me smiling. My mother used to tell me that doctor used to call me "Daroga ji" . I dunno why and how this name came into his head..may be i was looking like a lil daroga or can say brave cop. he he..far from reality 22 years hence i graduated from Dayalbagh Engg college and got posted in an Engineering giant as Design Engineer. Well not simply graduated i topped in my college and got "Director's Medal" for that ( 19th November 2004). That day also, my parents were happy.
