Strategies for Cracking UPSC-IES, GATE Exams

Ever since I have cracked (IES: AIR 14, GATE: Rank 64) these two sacred exams for Engineers, I feel contented as far as clearing exams are concerned. But I have learnt a lot from the competition inherent in these exams. Lacs of candidates, millions of coaching institutes and zillions of aspiring souls in the form of parents of these candidates. These parents spend lacs on the coaching of their budding engineering sons/daughters just to satisfy themselves that they have done their duty.  According to me, if a candidate has completed his engineering or if candidate is a final year student of Engineering - Coaching is not required atleast for cracking GATE or IES !! GATE: Its an aptitude exam for checking that graduates have acquired requisite skills expected from an qualified Engineer.  IES: Its a comprehensive exam which checks the ability of graduates to take up Group A Services of Govt of India. CYCLE OF CHANGE: SINGLE TO BEING MARRIED

DO WE REALLY CHANGE AFTER MARRIAGE ? IS BEING MARRIED REALLY BLISS ? T oday when i was going through the TOI, i got stuck with these captions of an article and i couldnot resist myself reading that article fully. Well thats the first change that i have felt after getting married- read read and read any article with captions like "married, or marriage etc". Not because everything is not fine, its coz of that extra craving to cross the perfection which in reality never happens. I would humbly say that its quite early for me to vouch that "marriage is a bliss or not" coz every thing has a warranty and i m into that phase. Once this guarantee period is over , i would in a better position to comment whether -Marriage is bliss or not. However, the other question- do we really change after marriage ? FEELING BIRTHDAY

Day of Joyand contentment for my parents. They became very happy to see me smiling. My mother used to tell me that doctor used to call me "Daroga ji" . I dunno why and how this name came into his head..may be i was looking like a lil daroga or can say brave cop. he he..far from reality 22 years hence i graduated from Dayalbagh Engg college and got posted in an Engineering giant as Design Engineer. Well not simply graduated i topped in my college and got "Director's Medal" for that ( 19th November 2004). That day also, my parents were happy. Happy for my success, they felt this way but i made them realised -it was their success. Years of love, sacrifice, care and concern helped me achieve what i achieved that day.
