First i would like to acknowledge ur prowess and adroitness in handling such a issue.You have very adeptly managed both sides of the coin and have impartially given your views on the "Domestic Violence Act".. You have communicated your thoughts very effectively but with some major assumptions :

1. With just chalking/announcing the Legal Act/Law does not ensure that implementation and effectiveness will be bang on. So at the moment we cannot comment on the effectiveness of the same.

2. The conservative(rural and semi-urban) Indian households, who will majorly benefit from this law are unaware of the same as the media blitz is in the urban segment. So yet again not sure about the effectiveness of the Act.

3. Last, the appoiintment of Officers etc does not ensure that the Act/Law will be in action in full swing. The corruption Index/Level in India is so high that the officers cannot be entrusted to do an honest task.

Some Solutions

1. The fear factor in the minds of the Indian household women is so deep-rooted that proper facilitation centres has to be in place.

2.Proper protection should be given to women who raise a concern wrt domestic violence.

3. The Judiciary which has a proven track record of delaying cases with tacit help from rich n influential strata of the society should be checked. -- Mohit

ICC Cricket World Cup 2023

 ICC CWC 2023 I was ardent fan of cricket 🏏 during my childhood days. I still remember watching India-England early morning matches at 4 AM. When it used to wake up for studies, we could hardly get up and keep our turns to hide under blankets in the guise of studying while brother kept watch on Dad's surprise inspection.  Surprisingly, enthusiasm was not limited to us (brothers) only rather we used to involve everyone in the event. Discuss each and every incident during the match as if this is going to be our Board exam question paper.  Post match analysis these days are result of that only. TV networks pick up few retired cricketers and let them discuss the full match again.  Hardly matches had total of 200+ in one day matches. T20 was yet to born....  Recently when news broke of nominating V V S Lakshman as Head Coach of ICT, I was pushed back in memory lane when he used to slog for full 50 overs and team used to post only 213 !!
